    Intuition

    eskiteej / 0 Comments

    32″ x 24″ – acrylic on canvas

This is called “Intuition” because she has her eyes closed. She knows where she is going. This was painted in 1997 and represents, for me, the fact that I always knew that I would someday be a full time professional fine artist. I think I knew it by the time I was five.

    19″ x 36″ – acrylic on canvas

Most people rarely even notice what’s under their feet. The lush green life here is still growing strongĀ  even after the leaves have changed and fallen. (October in Maryland)

    Seneca Creek, MD

    24″ x 30″ – oil on canvas

It was a clear, bright, late winter day along Seneca Creek. The reflections of the tree trunks in the water with the bright blue between them are what caught my eye. The brush along the banks is still in winter sleep, but the grass was starting to green up first.

    19″ x 30.75″ – acrylic on canvas (1999)

This painting shows the mist along Route 13 on the way to my parent’s house. It was just hovering above the tree tops perfectly.

    12″ x 12″ – acrylic on canvas

This is the second painting in a set showing the succulent ground cover along the California coast when I was there. It was so beautiful that I couldn’t believe everyone was walking on it.
